On 18 Feb 1998 the house was blessed by beloved Bishop Mar Simon Stock Palathara C.M.I at Kolchur with a special purpose of the welfare and uplift of the downtrodden, abandoned women, children and for the people who suffer from social discrimination and oppression. A special school was opened for the differently abled children. But later it was shifted to the newly built convent at Jagdalpur which was blessed on 14 Sept.2005 at Jagdalpur by Mar Simon Stock Palathra C.M.I the Bishop of Jagdalpur for better opportunities and administration.
