The convent at Ettumanoor was established in 1982 as one of the communities of St.Thomas province, Changanacherry in Kerala. When Pavitrathma region became a province this house was given to the region by the Mother province as it was a felt need to have a mission house in Kerala. The sisters very actively co-operate with the parish priest and other fathers in the faith formation of the people, through Sunday school classes. The Sisters very sincerely try to enrich the spiritual life of the parishioners by co-operating with the priests in organizing the associations for mothers, fathers and the youth and preparing the children for first Holy Communion, thus enabling everyone to come closer to the Holy Eucharist. The sisters are fully engaged in the ward prayer meetings that enable them to spread the Eucharistic love among the faithful.
